Meningitis B (MenB) Awareness & Vaccination
Meningococcal group B (MenB) disease is a serious infection that can cause meningitis and septicaemia.
- Eligible Groups: NHS vaccination is available for eligible cohorts, including young adults, students, and specific clinical risk groups.
- Protect Yourself: Ensure you complete your full vaccination course, including required second doses.
- Recognise the Signs: Early symptoms include high fever, severe headache, neck stiffness, confusion, cold hands or feet, and a non-blanching rash (a rash that does not fade under pressure).
